Himalayan Mountains & Rhinos Tour from $1290pp
Our Himalayan Mountains and Rhinos trip is a great introduction to all that this stunning country has to offer. From the fascinating temples and stupas of the capital Kathmandu, we fly to Pokhara, set on the edge of Phewa Lake. Here we take time to go boating before setting out to trek through the Himalayan Mountains. The Annapurna region provides the best introduction to trekking in Nepal. We will trek through rhododendron and oak forests, and along river valleys, passing through small villages along the way and staying in local tea-houses. We climb Poon Hill for sunrise and the breathtaking views across the Annapurnas and Dhaulagiri range. At the end of the trek we take in some of the sights in Pokhara – David Falls, Shiva Cave, and a hike up to the World Peace Buddhist Stupa, before heading off in search of the one horned Rhino and elusive Bengal Tiger in Royal Chitwan National Park. Here we travel by canoe and on elephant back looking for wildlife, and join in a traditional stick dance, before flying back to Kathmandu.

Annapurna Base Camp Tour from $1260pp
The principal peaks of the western portion of the great Annapurna Himal, including Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Fang, Annapurna, Ganagapurna, Annapurna 3 and Machhapuchhare, are arranged almost precisely in a circle about 10 miles in diameter with a deep glacier-covered amphitheatre at the centre. From this glacier basin, known as the Annapurna Sanctuary, the Modi Khola knifes its way south in a narrow gorge 12,000 feet deep. Further south, the gorge opens up into a wide and fertile valley, the domain of the Gurungs. The middle and upper portions of Modi Khola offer some of the best short trekking routes in Nepal, and Poon hill offers a fantastic panoramic view of the Himalayas in the Annapurna region including three mountains over 8000 metres high. This area has been wildly recognized as a natural paradise. The upper sub-alpine steppe environment harbours some of the rare snow leopards and blue sheep. Other areas of the region protect bird species such as the multi-coloured impeyan, kokla, and blood pheasant amongst a multitude of other birds, butterflies and insects. Many plants native to Nepal are found in the forest.

Please note: This trek is physically demanding and requires an above average level of fitness. Some trekking experience is recommended. Please discuss your suitability with your consultant if you have any concerns before booking.

Please note that for any client opting to pay the single supplement, this covers accommodation in hotels only on the tour, not in tea houses, where single rooms cannot be guaranteed.

Annapurna Circuit Tour from $1725pp
Trekking in the Annapurna region provides dramatic contrasts between green terraced farmland of the Marshyangdi valley and the massive peaks of the western portion of the great Annapurna. These peaks include Mt. Manaslu, Buddha Himal, Annapurna II & IV Gangapurna and Tilicho. In spite of the great heights of the surrounding peaks and ice walls, the valley floor between provides some of the best trekking in Nepal. Highlights include: the Thorong La (5416m), which must be crossed on the Annapurna Circuit trek, to reach the sacred site of Muktinath. This temple complex is a pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists and from here the sunrise on Dhaulagiri is particularly striking. Descending from Muktinath, you will be rewarded with great views of the Mustang region and caves in the northern hillside used as shelters by Tibetan refugees after China took over Tibet. Descend through the beautiful river valley into the world's deepest river gorge, carved by the mighty Kali Gandaki River, as it slices between the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massifs. Relax in the hot springs at Tatopani and ascend Poon Hill for sunrise and panoramic mountain views over the Annapurnas, including Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Ganagapurna, Annapurna III, Nilgiri, Machhapuchhare, Dhaulagiri & many more. The trek itself ends in Pokhara, with its beautiful setting on the shores of the lake.

Kingdom Of Mustang Tour from $3195pp
Mustang, lying nestled on the border with Tibet, is one of Nepal's most mysterious and least known kingdoms. Forbidden & isolated from the rest of the world, Mustang was able to evolve its own distinctive and unique culture and traditions, and is perhaps the last enclave of pristine Tibetan culture. The landscape of Mustang is a barren moonscape of eroded sandstone pillars and discontinuous moraine terraces, which together present a colourful mosaic made up principally of earthen reds, yellows and brown. The Mustang trek lies in the rain shadow of the Himalayas, and the trails once formed a thriving trade route between Nepal and Tibet. The terrain is striking, a semi-arid desert outlined by snow capped peaks, with remote whitewashed villages of the Lobas people along the way. The capital, Lo Manthang lies in the very heart of Mustang, a walled city from where the King reigns over his kingdom. Untouched by modern civilization, life in Mustang goes on as it has for centuries at an unhurried pace. Scenically unlike any other area in Nepal, a trek into the hidden Kingdom of Mustang is a uniquely rewarding experience.

Please note: This trek is physically demanding and requires an above average level of fitness. Some trekking experience is recommended. Please discuss your suitability with your consultant if you have any concerns before booking.

Tibet - The Forbidden Land Tour from $2405pp
Tibet remains one of the most interesting, remote and undeveloped regions of the world. Surrounded by vast mountains, century old caravan trails cross the mysterious landscape through hidden valleys to exotic cities. Also known as 'The Roof of the World', this mysterious Buddhist kingdom remained long closed to foreigners, exerting a stronghold on people's imaginations and giving appeal to travellers to visit Tibet at least once in their lifetime. Our journey starts with a spectacular flight over the Himalayas from Kathmandu to Lhasa, where we visit the Potala Palace, once home to the Dalai Lama, Sera and Drepung Monastaries, as well as the Summer Palace of Norbulingka, Jokhang Temple and the bustling Barkor Market.
